Justin Tomlinson MP has welcomed the creation of the Small Charities Challenge Fund (SCCF).
This new Fund will target small grassroots British charities doing outstanding humanitarian and development work overseas. The SCCF will help them to scale up and increase the reach and effectiveness of the work they already do to help the world’s poorest and most marginalised people around the world.
To be eligible for the SCCF, an organisation must be a UK registered, non-profit organisation from any sector and have an annual income of no more the £250,000.
Justin Tomlinson MP said: “It’s excellent news that applications for the Small Charities Challenge Fund are now open. I have seen first-hand the difference UK based organisations can make around the world. I hope that Swindon-based charities will consider applying for funding to take their vital skills to support the most vulnerable. Please do visit UK Aid’s website or get in touch with my office to hear more about the fund.”
