North Swindon MP Justin Tomlinson MP opened up his community office to an away day for staff at the Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership.
The Avon and Wiltshire Partnership provides inpatient and community-based mental health care for people experiencing difficulties with their mental health, including anxiety and depression, as well as acute and intensive mental health issues.
The group used the day for training and development, working in small group to discuss their work and share best practice. In addition to this, staff also took part in a yoga and meditation session to help relax.
The community office is open to be used by charity and community groups; and has already seen a wide variety of events – including: coffee mornings, children’s play sessions, AGMs, training sessions, meetings, and support groups.
