Swindon Robins legend Alun Rossiter (Rosco) has proposed Justin's nomination to be the Conservative Party candidate in North Swindon for the upcoming General Election.
The pair have worked together for a number of years on the campaign to save the speedway stadium - which was led by Justin, as well as collaborating to promote speedway both locally and in Parliament.
Justin said: "I have been overwhelmed with cross-party support for my re-election campaign, and I am very grateful to Alun for proposing my nomination as the Conservative Party candidate."
