Ruskin Primary School, Upper Stratton visited the House of Commons today. The children had a full tour, and learnt about how Parliament worked.
Justin Tomlinson MP, "It was a real pleasure to welcome the children from Ruskin Primary School. They were extremely knowledgable and enthusiastic during the lesson on the working of Parliament, as they set about creating their own Bill and securing its passage through the House of Commons and the House of Lords. As the children had picked up the rules so easily I was delighted that they agreed I could send any MPs who were confused to the schools so they could explain the rules!"
