Swindon MPs Justin Tomlinson and Robert Buckland visited Advanced Plasma Power in South Marston to see first hand the future of energy generation.
With old coal and nuclear power stations set to come offline over the next 5 years, the UK faces a challenge. With demand constant and renewable energies far from filling the gap, how can we keep up with energy demand whilst still meeting our green energy targets?
Advanced Plasma Power think they have the answer, with their technology that turns waste destined for landfill into clean green gas which we can then use in our homes or in our cars.
Justin Tomlinson MP said "I was extremely impressed to see the innovation and technology that Advanced Plasma Power have developed to solve one of the biggest challenges of the next decade. I am delighted that it is Swindon that is answering such challenges."
