Justin Tomlinson MP hosted a Parliamentary event on "What do Young People Think About Debt", jointed hosted by the APPG on Debt and Personal Finance and the APPG on Financial Education for Young People.
The event gave MPs the chance to talk to a range of young people including Primary and Secondary aged students and young people from the Cardinal Hume Centre, which supports homeless people under 25.
As well as speaking to the young people, MPs joined them in playing pfeg financial education games, talked to Citizens Advice debt advisors and financial capability workers, as well as taking part in an online quiz put together by Martin Lewis and his team at MoneySavingExpert.com entitled 'How Debt Literate are you?'
Justin Tomlinson MP "This was a fantastic event that allowed MPs to hear directly from young people and will play an important role in shaping our campaign to deliver improved financial education for young people."
